Start Your Ski Journey
If you’ve never tried cross-country skiing before, or it’s been years since you’ve been on skis, our Beginner Lessons will help you find your glide. Led by patient, friendly instructors, these 75-minute sessions focus on the basics — from balance and technique to understanding your equipment, all in a supportive, encouraging environment.
What You’ll Learn
- How to use your skis, poles, and boots
- Basic balance, gliding, and stopping techniques
- Introduction to both classic and skate skiing styles
- Trail etiquette and safety tips
Please Note: Lesson prices do not include trail or rental fees. See a slot available for a different type of lesson than what you’re looking for? Email chelseaoverlanderski@gmail.com and we can try and find you a slot or make adjustments.  Lessons are scheduled to make the best use of coach availability—if only one time slot is booked, we may adjust the schedule.

Before You Arrive

Parking
Free parking is available steps from the lodge. Give yourself at least 20 minutes before your lesson to park, get geared up, and check in.

Rentals
Ski and snowshoe rentals are available on-site. Plan a little extra time to get fitted before your lesson.
